Not as thick as I had hoped, closer to a thick mattress cover. Not much different from a down blanket, really. Still, it’s a great deal for something that is great for your health due to it being hypoallergenic and good for your skin! It’s basically a nice topper for firming up a foam mattress, or adding a hypoallergenic layer overtop something that’s not rated as being very “green”. We first tried this over a firm latex pad, and it did not add much noticeable improvement in thickness or softness. Next, we tried this down pad over a 2 inch thick foam pad, and it made all the difference! I am not at all a fan of foam pads. However, using this topper over the foam pad makes the foam less susceptible to sinking! Love it! I have a unique setup where I have 2 queen beds together because I sleep with my 2 great danes and 1 great pyrenees. I needed to be sure this bed was supportive, with some bounce , because straight memory foam doens't hold up to the amount of weight that could be on the bed. THIS IS AMAZING. First the coils are stiff with tons of support. Exactly what I need! It's an honest 12" high which is important since I have a 12" mattress next to it and it was off in measurements, it would be uncomfortable. But most importantly its extremely comfortable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were shocked when this couch arrived in two average sized boxes, and quite amazed at how huge it was once it started expanding out of the boxes! It seats three adults comfortably side-by-side, although the back is just a little low, so you end up almost reclining. The cup holders pop out easily, but hold drinks well, and the arms of the couch are also firm enough to balance a cup of coffee. The fabric is soooo soft and plush! This would be a great bed for overnight guests, sleeping two adults comfortably, or as a handy extra bed for kids sleepovers!
