My wife got this for me on a lark. We recently remodeled and repainted my office, and she felt like the light strand would make it kinda fun. She was 100% correct! The LED light strand adds a certain je ne sais quois to the room. The office is nautically themed, so one might expect sparse decorating, with paneled brown walls… this look, with the lighting, looks very nice. The remote control has several buttons that let you change colors and animations. The only issue is, and they address this in the included manual, when you size it you have to cut at specific areas. I purchased 3 of these to hang in the wedding venue I'm building. They're so beautiful and will be the perfect addition to the space. Everyone is really excited to see them and how they're going to transform everything! However, when they arrived, we noticed they came in the wrong color. We ordered black, but they came in the silver color instead. Absolutely love the look of this fixture but unfortunately after hanging it was very very hard to get it to sit level/correctly. The brass finish was also more of cheap gold. I had to do disassemble the top to remove part of the rod and make the fixture shorter. Also had to trim quite a bit of length from the cord off. I do love that it is LED and dimmable, but I also wonder about if one of the lights goes out how I'm supposed to replace or repair the LED portion since it seems very specific to the fixture.
