We bought this rug over a year ago and it has held up well. What you see in the pictures is pretty much exactly what you get. When it first arrived, I thought it might be a little larger, but we made it work by layering it just off the edge of a larger rug. The rug has a feel similar to a real cowhide—soft underfoot and comfortable to stand on. If you’re looking to add a little extra character to a room, I would definitely recommend this rug.. Shaun. This is a luxurious tanned springbok hide which can be used as a floor rug or to manufacture products. Many our clients use these skins to drape over a sofa or table. Color and size are variable because these are natural hide rugs. I had to order it twice to get close to the advertised size. I loved the color of the first rug but it arrived over a foot shorter than advertised. Wayfair made the exchange easy. I had them check the sizing before shipping a second rug.
