These beautiful chairs (in Vintage Tekwood) arrived carefully packaged and fully assembled. (The large carton is on the heavy side.) They chairs are light weight and stack easily, but they are very sturdily constructed. The chair seats are very comfortable as is and even more so with cushions -- the seats accommodate my existing cushions. The chair backs are a bit more upright than I had hoped, but they will be perfect for dining. If you are seeking chairs for reading / lounging, you might want something with a bit more slant or recline to the back. I also bought the 47" dining table (in Vintage Tekwood) to go with these chairs. The set was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but arrived on Friday. I am a very happy customer. It is really small, looks a little ridiculous between our rockers. I didn't check the size close enough, by the photos, it looks like a nice sized side table. It's more of a plant stand size. The legs bow a little, the lower shelf is a bit larger than the top. The color matches our chairs well. I purchased it using some store credit, so it wasn't a lot out of pocket. We’re on the Olympic Peninsula and the weather is particularly hard on things left outside and these hold up. We chose the Vineyard chairs over some of the other styles because of the higher back, were taller and I wanted to have some ease to the chairs.
