They chairs are light weight and stack easily, but they are very sturdily constructed. The chair seats are very comfortable as is and even more so with cushions -- the seats accommodate my existing cushions. The chair backs are a bit more upright than I had hoped, but they will be perfect for dining. If you are seeking chairs for reading / lounging, you might want something with a bit more slant or recline to the back. I also bought the 47" dining table (in Vintage Tekwood) to go with these chairs. The set was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but arrived on Friday. I am a very happy customer. It is really small, looks a little ridiculous between our rockers. I didn't check the size close enough, by the photos, it looks like a nice sized side table. It's more of a plant stand size. The legs bow a little, the lower shelf is a bit larger than the top. The color matches our chairs well. I purchased it using some store credit, so it wasn't a lot out of pocket.
