I learned that I could have saved myself a ton of time if I had used the provided allen key with the red top (looks like a wine bottle opener), instead of the conventional one that was also provided. I also learned that I needed help from someone else for a few stages in the process because it saves a lot of time. Things went a lot smoother and faster when I put together the second chair. I chose Polywood for no maintenance, heavyweight, and longevity. I assembled this myself. No issues. Best advice is to not tighten all the screws so you are able to move pieces a little while assembling. Then go through and tighten all when complete. Followed instructions. All hardware included.
