This is a great carport. The directions for the canvas part was a bit hard to decipher, but otherwise the directions were pretty good. Unwrapping plastic from each roof panel was a bit of a pain, but if you do it on a sunny day outside, the panels will get warm and the plastic will be easier to remove. We just had 3 or 4 of us at a time unwrapping them. I am optimistic that it will last a long time. Assembling the roof canopy after the frame was fully erected proved to be cumbersome. Highly recommend using a four-step ladder or 6 ft ladder. I was able to assemble alone. I just put this up, and it has the most detailed instructions I've ever seen! All of the parts were there, everything numbered, everything fit together real well, I also like how you can take the ends of the shelter off and back on, Ididn't put them on from the beginning but I don't think it's going to be a big deal you just got to go up under the collar that comes around the end to keep weather out when you do have the ends on there. I'm not using the anchoring ropes into the ground, taking one to a tree and the other two into the house. I'll just have to wait and see if it can stand up to South Florida weather. I got 2 of these for my animals. We made it into a chicken coop and a peacock and pigeon coop. It’s a really good size for them. We got a few rolls of hardware cloth and my husband got some 2x4’s, he put a concrete foundation so animals can’t dig in. The animals love it and so do I. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Took me about 1 day to put together with some assistance from my son. Recommend about 3 people. My advice would be to pay very close attention to instructions. One mishap can throw assembly into chaos. Bring your power tools and drill. I had to drill for couple of misplaced holes. I had to build elevated wood foundation so keep that in mind. Keep your screws in the bag they came in...mines were all over the place. Lower your expectations. This is not a solid wood shed with more sturdy material. I had to add weather strip to the doors (large gap in between). Other than that Im not too disappointed. Putting together is just a tedious process. Take your time and go step by step. Good portable garage and I was very happy with the package contents. It took me 5 hours by myself to put this together am happy with this unit. Let me tell you why. The setup is based on photosimages but the hardware needed is listed by size. The tubular framing is marked and the untalkation image tells it all. Once the frsme was assembled the f t onto, rear the finally the top cover were installed. I was happy at this point with the way everything was going. You now have the lower cross tubular supports to install on each side. After this was completed I adjusted the front and rear tensioners and took a loom at the assembled portable garage. I was very happy and the height was much taller than the one I replaced. Finally and most important. The ground stakes and supports to keep this unit from leaving your yard from the wind. The twist into the ground anchors I faster with is cable and hardware thats not included I used the small ss cable and connectors that kept the last one i had un my yard. I also used heavy duty zip ties and the hammer in spikes for each support on the ground for each upright. I am very happy with this purchase. Just take your time with the intallation.. Charles.
