The first chair took me forever to assemble, but I used it as a learning experience. I learned that I could have saved myself a ton of time if I had used the provided allen key with the red top (looks like a wine bottle opener), instead of the conventional one that was also provided. I also learned that I needed help from someone else for a few stages in the process because it saves a lot of time. Things went a lot smoother and faster when I put together the second chair. They were easy to assemble, but it would be much easier with a helper…I assembled them by myself. Some of the pieces have to be held awkwardly when inserting the screws and bolts. My only issue was one of the “bolts and screws” packages tore open prior to opening the box, and those items fell everywhere. I luckily found each one, which was a big deal since there were no extras. (Suggestion to the manufacturer) Quality seems to be as good as the ones I’d purchased from another manufacturer for a much higher price. I bought 4 to complete the area around our firepit.. Renee.
