I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. UPDATE- We recently renovated our kitchen and guess what stayed, my amazing sink! Now I have beautiful countertops to go with my awesome sink. That was the one thing I told my husband the sink stays! It is the perfect size for our small kitchen and the amount of dishes and stuff it fits is shocking. I think my kids think of it as a challenge to see how many dirty dishes will fit before Mom yells to load the dishwasher. The sink may be 2 years old, but it still looks brand new, which is saying a lot. This sink is definitely kid tested and Mom approved. WOW! The look, the quality, the usability, all around just WOW! I had been wanting a farmhouse sink for a long time and when I saw this one I knew it was the one I had been searching for. The shelf in the front, which makes it ADA compliant, is actually what I love about it. It makes the sink more user friendly. Every sink should come with this front shelf and sink grid. It is so much easier to fill pots with water, clean vegetables and fruit and has made my life so much easier. I suffer from fibromyalgia and this sink is a life saver. I never thought having the shelf and sink grid would make any difference, but it truly does. It is not only an incredibly smart design, but also beautiful. It took my husband and I roughly 3 days to install this sink and the countertops. It is not, let me repeat, this sink is not for the novice DIYer. The install directions are literally hire a professional. We had to build our own structure within the our current cabinet to support the sink, which does not install like a normal farmhouse sink. Has held up really well. You’re likely to get some scratching of the paint or coating on the middle separator if you lean things like pizza stones or anything slightly abrasive against it, but otherwise has help up really well. We have the privilege of having my brother to be able to tackle our remodeling projects even if it will take time due to him living 6 hours from us. My system is split to a dedicated faucet and my 2 refrigerator's, ice makers and water dispensers. Water taste good, no issues. I did have to add a small pressure tank to keep the system from cycling multiple times when the ice maker was being filled or the water was being dispensed from the refrigerators. The refrigerators back pressure causes the RO system to shut off prematurely. With the added small waterdrop PWT ( pressure water tank) the system no longer Cycles and the pressure of the water coming out, has increased a small amount. The number of times per day the system comes on has also decreased because of the PWT. The system is not loud but noticeable. The reviews I've seen mainly complain about noise from the system. Which it's not my experience. Again, adding the PWT also reduces the numbem cycles the system runs per day. The system was easy to put in. Only pre-requirement is a dedicated electrical outlet under the sink. I split my power from my dishwasher. I ran my electrical line from the dishwasher under my cabinet into a dedicated dual Outlet.
