It’s a lot of parts and hours of work to assemble, need multiple people to complete. It’s not exactly 12x16, more like 11x15. It will look really good when I get to finish assembly. It is really small, looks a little ridiculous between our rockers. I didn't check the size close enough, by the photos, it looks like a nice sized side table. It's more of a plant stand size. The legs bow a little, the lower shelf is a bit larger than the top. The color matches our chairs well. I purchased it using some store credit, so it wasn't a lot out of pocket.
