These beautiful chairs (in Vintage Tekwood) arrived carefully packaged and fully assembled. (The large carton is on the heavy side.) They chairs are light weight and stack easily, but they are very sturdily constructed. The chair seats are very comfortable as is and even more so with cushions -- the seats accommodate my existing cushions. The chair backs are a bit more upright than I had hoped, but they will be perfect for dining. If you are seeking chairs for reading / lounging, you might want something with a bit more slant or recline to the back. I also bought the 47" dining table (in Vintage Tekwood) to go with these chairs. The set was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but arrived on Friday. I am a very happy customer. I absolutely love this piece. I put it all together in leass than 15 minutes. It was really easy since there are just about 16 pieces. It is very sturdy and looks great in my study. I have limited photos to upload here but the assembly is what I will focus on as it looks identical to the picture. Definitely worth the purchase!! Year later, SO UPDATE the nuts and bolts just fell out. I mean they are just decorative so nobody sits on them. It looks nice but just wanted to update u on that. The legs just fell off each chair.
