My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. I have a hydraulic bath tub for dog grooming, I was unable to get this to drain because the drain pipe is for a washer and this drains under the tub with a hose on the ground. So ordered this pump for under a sink and it works fine! very quiet.. Deb R.. Thu Apr 28 2016
