With this one, I had been skeptical about buying a mattress that came rolled up and had read so many mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. The mattress is a hybrid and medium, so not very plush, I personally would prefer a softer mattress, but I believe that with a box spring it would feel a bit softer, I am using a foundation now. I also bought a think mattress cover to give it a little more plush. The mattress did not have any bad smells which was something I read in many reviews. It also recovered its shape fairly quickly, I would say in about one day. It was interesting that it also comes with a cutter to open the plastic bag, I can now use the tool as a letter opener. It is comfortable for sleeping, but again, I like softer mattresses. I slept mostly on one side and can tell it is caving in a little, but that would happen to any mattress, I need to flip it over every so often.
