I have purchased the no name filters before. I can honestly say that I get better tasting water and the filter lasts longer with the namebrand. You can buy a slighty cheaper filter that does not filter water that tastes as good and you will buy more filters sooner so in the long run you will spend more money!. Scott. Beaumont, TX.
