We recently selected this shower door for a bathroom refresh. We didn't want to do custom glass in this kids bathroom, and opted to save a bit and go with a premade frameless shower door. The quality of the materials is exceptional for our needs here! Achieving a "high-end" look often comes down to the weight and finish of the hardware, and this door delivers on both counts. The brass finish is sophisticated and has a beautiful, soft luster. It isn't that overly shiny "fake" gold. The hinges feel substantial and provide a smooth, heavy inswing and outswing. The 3/8" tempered glass is crystal clear. It makes the entire bathroom feel much larger and more open, which is exactly the "airy" vibe I was going for. Because this is a frameless design, precision is key. The wall hinges are sturdy and the seal is tight, preventing any water leakage without needing bulky metal framing. We did a total remodel of our shower, and I wanted a door with a clean and modern look. This one is WONDERFUL. Since installation was beyond our capability, I did have a contractor install it. He said that it was easy to install but advised 2 people to complete the task. The door arrived in 4 packages, and all the parts were present. We have hard water, so I especially love that the glass has a special coating to minimize spoting. I like that the door has the ability to be installed to swing inward or outward. Purchase of Glass Warehouse Illume shower door. My first purchase from Wayfair. The shower door and hardware were exactly what I ordered. I would say the doors are of very high quality and are made using thick glass with beautiful polished edges. Glass Warehouse packaging was excellent and the glass doors arrived in perfect condition. I installed the shower door with my wife’s help using the directions provided. The step by step instructions were easy to understand. Wayfair answered my questions and shipping was on time..
