I purchased the LG LDTS5552S dishwasher and have experienced a persistent chemical odor since the beginning of ownership. The smell is difficult to describe precisely, but it resembles heated rubber, vinyl, petroleum products, or synthetic plastic. The odor becomes stronger as the dishwasher heats up and appears to be emitted from the lower vent area. The problem occurs even during normal operation without using the High Temp or Extra Dry settings. Over the past year I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps, including cleaning the filters repeatedly, running cycles without detergent, using dishwasher cleaning cycles, and removing additional plastic accessories from inside the machine. None of these actions resolved the issue. The dishes themselves do not retain the odor, but the heated air emitted by the dishwasher does. The smell is strong enough to travel beyond the kitchen and can sometimes be noticed on the second floor of the house. After more than a year of trying to live with this issue, I have stopped using the dishwasher altogether and returned to washing dishes by hand because I am not comfortable having my family continuously exposed to the odor. What concerns me most is that this odor appears whenever the appliance is heated, suggesting that materials inside the unit may be releasing volatile compounds into the air. I do not know whether LG has evaluated the long-term impact of breathing these emissions during routine daily use, but I believe this is a legitimate concern that deserves attention. I am disappointed because otherwise the dishwasher performs well. If LG is aware of this issue or has a solution, I would genuinely appreciate a response. The ECOPOWER faucet is ideal for high-traffic commercial spaces and provides an elegant water conservation solution. Powered by the force of running water, ECOPOWER hydro-turbines create an electrical current that is stored in rechargeable cells to power the Smart Sensor System of the faucet. The ECOPOWER faucet is highly efficient, replenishing power stores in as little as five uses daily. No external power source or battery replacement is necessary. The ECOPOWER 0.5 GPM 10 second on-demand controller uses only 0.08 gallons per cycle and is CEC and CALGreen compliant. The on-demand system means that water flows only when needed and cannot be accidentally left running. When hands are present, the water will flow, and when hands are removed, the water will stop. Included: controller and mounting hardware. Purchased separately: compatible spout, water supply line for G1/2 connection, and optional mixing valve for water that is not pre-mixed.

Very efficient controller. Have only had it in place for about 2 months so time will tell, but it's working great so far. The only thing I wasn't clear on was that it will only work for one faucet.
