This is a cute little playhouse, but smaller than anticipated inside. The measurements are from the outer edges. I didnt take the wall widths into consideration. My little girl loves her new vanity! Giving 4 stars bc the assembly directions were not detailed enough and 1 of the small plastic knobs did not tighten, and most frustrating was the battery cover in the back, the tiniest screw ever!
