We didn’t have much wiggle room with the intended space so we were a little irritated when the length was over 4 inches longer than the dimensions said. We made it work and it came out nicely. This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. Shed went together easily, with decent directions. I understand why the metal is covered with plastic to protect during shipping, but it peels and looks bad in time. I recommend setting this up on 2 pallets with plywood attached on top if it isn't going on a hard level surface. Tolerances are tight, and you will be happier with the result if it's on a perfectly level surface. Too bad about the peeling plastic, as it's a good looking shed for the money. Read full review. This is a very decent shed especially for the price. It does take some effort to build. I completed in less than 6hrs with no assistance. Read the instructions before you start. It will help. Organize the pieces. There were a lot of reviews stating dents and dings right out of the box. Mine came with a few. It is sheet metal so I expected some. Some of the holes don't line up perfectly, again it is sheet metal you can easily maneuver it or drill a perfect match. I just maneuvered it. The latch is flimsy so if you are in need of security you should probably get a different latch. You will need a ladder if you are shorter for the roof screws. 6ft worked perfectly. It is very light weight so I assembled it on 2 average wooden pallets for a sturdy base and anchored it in when it was completed. Overall this is a great shed for it's price.. Jennifer. I had to have a friend of mine put this together now I am a girl that can put a Lot of stuff together dressers and all kinds of things chicken coops but I'm sorry but I just didn't get this but now it's together and we store out door table and chairs in it over the winter it could be bigger too.. This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. Also bought my own 16 foot and 10 foot long boards for the sill plates and headers, and used them instead of the shorter pieces that came with the kit. Michael. Wed Jul 03 2024
