We just got this and initially it seems that our cat isn’t sure what to make of it. The construction is sound and it’s easy to charge and comes with a use charger. It is easy to clean and quiet. I like this and I am small enough fit through the gate, but my elderly father has trouble with it and his caregiver has trouble fitting through it and opening and closing it. My dog is 15 pounds and can’t get out of it, so that is the best part. Perhaps my Dad’s caregiver will figure out how to open and close it. Be prepared to spend a day assembling this kennel! It arrived in 3 large boxes, 100lbs each but well packed and lined with wood. All of the various parts are letter coded, the best is that all of the bolts and screws are the same size for the entire structure. The materials are heavy duty, it is best to have 2 people working and holding panels to get everything lined up. My only complaint is the main doors. For some reason the hinges ARE the screws, which doesn’t seem secure or could loosentighten over time. Second is that there is a fairly large gap between the doors and the rest of the kennel where all other pieces are very tight together. I’m using this for chickens and will need to come up with a solution to fill in that gap. All in all, I think this is great quality. It came with ground stakes to prevent the wind from taking it. Where are all my poultry people at If you are anything like me youve got a house full of kids and a backyard full of chickens and ducks. The problem is is that we also have dogs. One dog doesnt care about the chickens but lets just say the other one does. Enter this kennel. It is super sturdy and very heavy duty. We arent using it to put the dogs in but in fact to keep them out. Not only will this provide protection from the dogs, it is fully enclosed and will provide extra protection from birds of prey and other predators like raccoons.
