I bought these because my dog is aging and keeps sliding and slipping as she goes up and down the stairs. These carpet treads help her with her grip and are particularly helpful when it is raining. However, when our parents come over we remove them because they do slide around and I would hate for them to slip and fall. I love these for foot comfort. I just wish they were as deep as my first set I purchased from Wayfair (30"x 9 1/2"). These are only 8" deep. There were some treads that had flaws (loose gel under the clear film) so after talking to representative Jana (super nice and helpful) about them they are going to send me another set.
