I've been very impressed with the FOTILE 30" Slant Vent range hood. It’s extremely efficient at removing smoke and cooking odors, much more powerful than standard models. Despite its strong suction (up to 1100 CFM), it operates surprisingly quietly, which is a big plus in an open kitchen. The touchless control feature is also a standout. You can turn it on or off just by waving your hand, which is super convenient when your hands are messy from cooking. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The Vevor 16" extraction blower fan is extremely strong. This thing moves some serious air. Don't think you are going to be powering this thing up without anyone noticing. The fan has some serious torque and it is extremely loud in either the low or the high setting. Likely due to the all metal construction. The price seems very fair considering it comes with a hose and the quality seems to be there as well. The only thing I have an issue with is getting the hose to stay in place. The tie system works but is almost useless. I might switch out for a ratchet strap or something on the next use. Also this unit is very large. Your going to need some extra shelve space for storage. Lucky the hose flattens out pretty well. All in all, I would buy the Vevor 16" blower fan again with out question. The thing could make a hurricane happen.. Jeremy. Tue Dec 06 2022
