It's a pretty fridge, but the ERR code won't go away after I replaced the H2O filter. I used a GE specific filter as suggested, tried shutting off power, reinstalled filter 3 x's. It has so many amazing features that I honestly can’t even think of where to start. Firstly, it has like cameras in the drawers which is incredible, they take pictures of when you last opened the drawers and you can access that at any time and see what was in there in case you forgot. It’s craziness! There is also the options to scan barcodes for anything, literally anything that has a barcode and you can add it to your shopping list that you can also access anywhere. WILD. so you’ll never forget to get something again pretty much. It has the LED light wall too which makes opening it look like a stairway to heaven lol it lights up every nook and cranny in the thing that’s for sure you won’t ever have to worry about not being able to see something. It’s honestly one of my favorite features because not being able to see what’s behind something in the very back is so so so annoying. It’s also go the adjustable door shelves, which is great because a lot of times things on the door aren’t the same size as everything else. You can set the FILTERED water dispenser to dispense certain amounts of liquids in oz, Ml, anything you need and it will give you the exact amount and you can even fill up like mixing bowls and stuff with the right amount of liquid you need without having to break out the measuring cup. Just set it, and stick it up there. It also has the paddle to fill them up directly. The aforementioned drawers that have cameras also have the ability to set the temp at whatever you want. The middle drawer is incredible and I love it. Honestly this thing called me poor in 5 different languages I’d never heard before and I feel so special to be able to be a part of this campaign because there is no way I’d ever personally buy one of these for myself. But honestly, it so so very very worth the money. It retails for 5,000 but you can catch them on a deal and get a few grand off and honestly if you can you absolutely should do it because this fridge is like living in a fever dream. It has so many crazy options and useful tools. I swear it’s like they thought of everything you would need to really set yourself up for success, be productive and get things done that you need to get done. The screen on it is amazing too and you can customize the background to have what you want in it. And the thing even will talk to you. While you can’t have a full Conversation like with other things, you can still tell it to do something like fill up your water for whenever you’re ready or it can even add something to your shopping list. There’s also a removable bin caddy to hold like sodas and stuff in which is super handy bc if you’re having a cookout or party or something you can just pull it out instead of having to pull them out individually. Plus it works amazing as a drawer divider so you can keep everything super organized and clean. Also something else that is really awesome about it is it has the soft close produce drawers which is amazing bc there is nothing I hate more than a produce drawers that you either have like pull up on to get them to close or when you do close them they slam shut and are super loud. These slide so easy and you don’t have to finagle them all over the place either. It went together super easy also installing all the raining and shelves and everything. Truly I don’t think I can say enough good things about it and I don’t know that I can even find anything wrong with it aside from the fact that maybe it is SUPER heavy but I mean it’s a really nice and well built fridge so it is expected to be heavy. For real if you can catch this on a deal (which is is right now hint hint) you should absolutely get it if youve got the money to spend. This refrigerator replaced a 22 year old Artica GE Side by Side. I had kept the Artica going for all these years, but got tired of the defrost heater burning out what I consider to be too often? I purchased OEM one's, but the last one lasted about 14 months and it was a GE one. Don't know why they don't last any better? Anyway said goodbye to the old girl that served us pretty well for those 22 years. The ice maker had failed and had developed an internal leak I could not find and fix, so we lived without that for several of it's last years. Now, this new one is HUGE at 28.3 The old one was about 25 cu. ft. Actually, I hated the dark tunnel of the Artica Side by Side. Could not find things back in there! This new one is great from that standpoint with the lighted back panel, you can see everything in there. Like the convertible part and the drawers in the freezer section. I've read that the ice makers in GE refrigerators are troublesome compared to other brands? I hope it is trouble free, but all of that is unknown just after purchase and setup. The old Artica was built like a tank. The shelving was sturdy. This new one has shelving and door trays that are a bit less robust. I hope they stand up as well as the old Profile Artica? Received the GE 65gallon water heater with flexcapacity today (240v model). I did the installation by myself however the GE water heater is heavy. Luckily i got some help from my friend to set the water heater heater in place. HPWH is easy to use and consume little power. Not very noisy, can't hear it in house, but definitely would bother me if my office were in the garage. Keeps water warm overnight without using any power (or very very little). Concern is the durability of the anode rod - within two weeks, it is down to 98%. Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. I bought the 80 gallon without the mixing valve to save a bit of money. I have a family of four adults and two children as well as a tenant so five adults in total in approximately 2000 sq ft of home. Three bathrooms one dishwasher which we frequently use and a washing machine. I also have a recirculating pump that turns on in the morning so the kids don’t have to wait for warm water. Other than when we first filled it I have only ever used eco mode and have never had to switch to another mode to recover. I thought about whether I needed the mixing valve so I could heat the water hotter and have even more capacity but the mixing valve would not have been compatible with my recirculation setup according to my plumber and it makes sense as the heater would then be constantly heating cold water for no reason. So far that extra capacity the mixing valve buys has not been necessary. I switched from a gas water heater to electric because I have solar and there was an incentive program. My gas billed was halved in the winter time and in spring and summer is nonexistent. Electricity consumption is so low it barely makes a change at least when I monitor consumption in the solar app. So I totally buy the super high efficiency ratings. Water comes out as hot as desired. The app is a bit buggy and the WiFi connectivity is just okay. The heater is about 60 feet away from my WiFi with one door and it disconnects a lot. Seeing consumption on the app is nice but not always possible with the WiFi connectivity. I suppose people who need to change the modes more frequently would use the other features but I have just always been on eco. Noise is supposed to be one of the lowest there is. I personally was not expecting to hear anything but perhaps as a result of how it was installed with bracing it vibrates other structures which amplify the noise? I can definitely hear a low drone in my garage. It’s not bothersome and fades to background eventually. But I would definitely caution anybody who has to put their heater in living spaces to insulate that mechanical room well. Loving this refrigerator so far. I do want to let people know that it won't produce ice until 24 hours is up. Don't panic like I did. Set up the refrigerator to be online and get everything like you want it BEFORE you install the app on your phone. I did the app first and added my fridge, and then the shopping list wasn't an option. I removed it after I set the fridge up, and reinstalled it and there it was. FYI-Camera inside isn't real-time. I love this counter depth refrigerator. We received it a few weeks later than originally scheduled, but it was better than not getting it at all. Thanks goodness for Wayfair! I couldn’t order it anywhere without waiting over 5 to 6 months. The inside drawer within the freezer drawer had a small piece broken. But I was able to send a video to the tech and the part was ordered and received. I love the fact that you don’t see fingerprints.
