GE Profile™ GEOSPRING™ Smart Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater 50-gallon - 240V

GE Profile Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater has been installed for about 5 weeks. Delivery was superb, delivered to my basement as scheduled in three days from date of order. Installation by plumber was without issue. Has been functioning very well since installation. Extremely low electric use and not very loud. It does keep the basement cooler, but that's not an issue.. It was just installed but love it so far. The water pitcher feature is very nice and you can not hear it run at all. The crisper drawers are smaller than the old GE profile we replaced but this is an excellent refrigerator. The lights in it are amazing.. Paul Burgh. Chesapeake Va. Tue Sep 01 2026

Received the GE 65gallon water heater with flexcapacity today (240v model). I did the installation by myself however the GE water heater is heavy. Luckily i got some help from my friend to set the water heater heater in place. The GE water heater is a little noisy when the heatpump kicks in (hopefully i did not get the malfunction one) i will observ the noise for a couple of days.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 17 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s only been a few days since the installation of my new 65 Gallon Tank GE Hybrid Electric Heat Pump Water Heater and I’m very happy. My water heats up so fast and with the materials used to fabricate it, it’s such an attractive unit in my garage.. Lady Legit. Folsom California. Wed Dec 03 2025

Item was in great condition after unboxing and it was packaged well. So far it looks good and is in my house. I’ll be installing it this weekend to see how it performs.. Anonymous. Mon Jul 27 2026

50-gallon - 120V - Smart Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater with FlexCapacity

This performs exactly as well as my previous water heater, but with vastly increased efficiency. Given that I had to replace the water heater anyway, the added cost for the heat pump over the standard electric 120v will pay for itself in less than a year, and I will have it for at least another decade. It is MUCH taller than a standard water heater and requires room above it and around it to operate the heat pump. Also, the GE app is clunky (at best). It is not letting me set up a schedule to conserve even more energy, so I'll just have to make do with way more efficient instead of extra-way more efficient.. Nuri. Omaha, NE. Wed Apr 29 2026

I bought the 80 gallon without the mixing valve to save a bit of money. I have a family of four adults and two children as well as a tenant so five adults in total in approximately 2000 sq ft of home. Three bathrooms one dishwasher which we frequently use and a washing machine. I also have a recirculating pump that turns on in the morning so the kids don’t have to wait for warm water. Other than when we first filled it I have only ever used eco mode and have never had to switch to another mode to recover. I thought about whether I needed the mixing valve so I could heat the water hotter and have even more capacity but the mixing valve would not have been compatible with my recirculation setup according to my plumber and it makes sense as the heater would then be constantly heating cold water for no reason. So far that extra capacity the mixing valve buys has not been necessary. I switched from a gas water heater to electric because I have solar and there was an incentive program. My gas billed was halved in the winter time and in spring and summer is nonexistent. Electricity consumption is so low it barely makes a change at least when I monitor consumption in the solar app. So I totally buy the super high efficiency ratings. Water comes out as hot as desired. The app is a bit buggy and the WiFi connectivity is just okay. The heater is about 60 feet away from my WiFi with one door and it disconnects a lot. Seeing consumption on the app is nice but not always possible with the WiFi connectivity. I suppose people who need to change the modes more frequently would use the other features but I have just always been on eco. Noise is supposed to be one of the lowest there is. I personally was not expecting to hear anything but perhaps as a result of how it was installed with bracing it vibrates other structures which amplify the noise? I can definitely hear a low drone in my garage. It’s not bothersome and fades to background eventually. But I would definitely caution anybody who has to put their heater in living spaces to insulate that mechanical room well. Once my garage door is closed I can barely hear it but it was a bit more than I expected.. Jonnnn. California. Mon May 18 2026

Nearly 5 year update... I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this range! The wifi feature allows me to start the oven while on my way home from the grocery store, cook baked potatoes left inside it or preheat from the hammock in the backyard. I don't love the air fry feature, I still use a different one. I bought a newer version of this range than a friend had and recommended and am so glad I did. I'd have to guess current models are just as wonderful. Love my range!! I didn't think the wifi feature was something I'd ever use but I do use it often.. Valerie. Sevierville, TN. Wed Apr 08 2026

It's a microwave. Does the job, but not worth the money. Wish we hadn't needed a built in. The actual inside space is okay, but kinda small. A 9×9 covered dish is about the largest cooking dish it can handle.. Talkteach. Thu Jul 09 2026

Purchased black, if on city water and they use chloride in water, it will leave strains. Believe it or not, I use stainless steel cleaner once a month to correct issue.. Cynthia. Wildwood, FL. Sat Feb 21 2026

Looks good. All burners work. The oven works. There is NO USER'S GUIDE as to how to use features. The included paperwork, Installation Guide, etc., refer to the User's Guide, but there is none. The Quick Guide only provides caveats for the product use, all CYA items about the dangers of gas, electricity, tipping, etc.. Koko39. North To Aurora. Sun Sep 27 2026

I love this product, it looks great with the other appliances I have. The buttons are a little sensitive but the locking mechanism helps to ensure safety. The stove heats up quickly and the design is beautiful. The oven has no heat air fryer which helps to cook foods quickly. The convection backing works well too. We make peanut butter cookies and they baked perfectly, with the edges of the cookie crispy but the middle was soft and moist. I am overall happy with this product and highly recommend it.. Chanel.
