The gazebo is really nice. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. The only issue was when we unpacked the boxes, there were several panels, windows and a screen that were damaged. It was disappointing to spend so much for damaged materials. The manufacturer did agree to send replacement parts and Wayfair was monitoring the communications, so we felt like we had some insurance. We really love the size and style of the solarium. It is very sturdy and we have had no issues with opening and closing the doors. I will say that the inside top flaps do not run flush and insects are able to get in. I think with some manipulating you might be able to better secure them but I have not yet tried. The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. After buying canvas topped gazebos in the past, I finally made a decision to get the aluminum patio gazebo. This is the second one we have purchased, one was a gift and we liked it so much we purchased this for us. it’s incredibly sturdy. I was delighted that the roof has 3 hook areas for lighting, plants or wind chimes. The only thing that I would say to the negative is that it took an inordinate amount of time during setup to peel the protective film off the aluminum top pieces perhaps maybe they could do something more with a different protection that could be easily removed but other than that, we love it..
