This canopy worked perfectly for a backyard BBQ. It provided plenty of shade and space for our guests, and the sidewalls were a nice bonus for extra coverage when needed. I waited for the Memorial Day Sale and got it at a great price! Shipping was fast. It said three boxes but box two was inside box one. I was able to lay out all of the pieces and everything was labeled very clearly. I worked on one step each night and with the exception of the steps that required two people I was ably to assemble this alone in a week. The only slow part was the roof panels have a plastic on BOTH sides that has to be removed. This took a little over four hours but it came of clean and easy (the metal is sharp). This is my second time buying this gazebo. I get so many compliments when people come over! The last one ended up getting ruined by a wind storm but I had it for several years and everything was holding up perfectly. The canopy fabric color did not bleach out and the curtains were still perfect. There was zero rust on the frame itself even with our harsh winters. So far, the gazebo has held up very well through rain and high winds and feels sturdy once assembled. I purchased this to extend our usable space on our patio. It took 2 people about 5 hours in the Texas heat to put this together. We did have some experience with this type of assembly so that helped streamline things. It definitely needs to be anchored, but once it is the awning is quite stable. We love this addition and it looks great. An added, unforseen bonus being in Texas, it has helped keep my house much cooler by keeping the sun off of that portion of the house.. Anonymous. There were three people putting up the gazebo and it took about five hours. It did fit together very well and instructions are ok. There is a mistake in the manual. There are 8 G1 parts, not 4 which it says on page 10. Also the picture of G1 on page 6 and 10 is incorrect. There are 2 pictures of G1 on page 10 and the other picture is correct. I put the curtains on and we didn’t quite understand how the Velcro tabs should go so that added time. After a few days I took the curtains down as I don’t think we will ever close them.
