I am not going to lie. I was leery, but my expectations were exceeded just on the packaging alone! Took me about an hour to put together, instructions were easy-ish to follow. The operation is smooth, very quiet when moving up/down. The wiring threw me off a bit, as the light controller is in the box with the desk and everything else is in the box with the frame. I am very pleased, it feels sturdy. Caution, the box with the frame is much heavier than expected, but you can tell quality went into the making. Didn't have to program the motors or calibrate them. The cup holder is a nice touch for sure! I do wish it came with a PC tower holder, but there was room on top for the desktop. I am a developer, not a gamer, but it's perfect for my setup! The price is higher than many of the others but I chose this one, because the top is a solid piece and not split like a majority of the others. Very large working space and still enough room for my gaming setup. The bf is getting the matching desk for his side of the game room as well. Assembly was not bad at all. Only reason I am giving 3 stars is that there was a defect on the chair edge side of the desk surface all along the edge. This chair is just what I needed! The instructions for assembly were clear and they included spare screws. Assembly took around a half hour. I got this chair for gaming and streaming and so far it's been performing well for lengths of 6+ hours at a time. I love that it can recline and has a footrest. The footrest is a little bit awkward to slide in and out while sitting in the chair but otherwise works fine. Overall no issues, very happy with this product. The desk was perfect for my my needs. I was upgrading for more room to my D&D streams along with an area to setup a station to paint miniatures and this desk has plenty of space. Love the modularity of the elevated shelves. I have a couple of paint displays coming that will sit on the desk and house my displays and it’s nice that I could omit the two extra elevated shelves. Not sure if they upgraded their packing from previous reviews but this came in pristine. The main wood pieces were packed with hard plastic protective covers on each of the corners in addition to all the normal styrofoam. Another nice plus is along with the desk grommet for cable management, the supporting beams running below the desk provides great cover secure and hide your wiring/cables using tape or snap ties.
