I am not going to lie. I was leery, but my expectations were exceeded just on the packaging alone! Took me about an hour to put together, instructions were easy-ish to follow. The operation is smooth, very quiet when moving up/down. The wiring threw me off a bit, as the light controller is in the box with the desk and everything else is in the box with the frame. I am very pleased, it feels sturdy. Caution, the box with the frame is much heavier than expected, but you can tell quality went into the making. Didn't have to program the motors or calibrate them. The cup holder is a nice touch for sure! I do wish it came with a PC tower holder, but there was room on top for the desktop. I am a developer, not a gamer, but it's perfect for my setup! The price is higher than many of the others but I chose this one, because the top is a solid piece and not split like a majority of the others. Very large working space and still enough room for my gaming setup. The bf is getting the matching desk for his side of the game room as well. Assembly was not bad at all. Only reason I am giving 3 stars is that there was a defect on the chair edge side of the desk surface all along the edge. It is as if it was not heat treated right and the edge material is rolling off and bubbled across the entire edge. UPDATE Ordered a replacement part and it showed up so fast and it was free. Nice and simple desk, exactly what I was looking for. I was having a hard time finding a smaller gaming desk, because its not always that much room in kids room for a 47" to 53" desk so I'm extremely happy about the fact I found a smaller one on wayfair and it was easy to put together, around 25 minutes or so.
