First impression: Very nice workmanship, color and texture very nice, dimensions highly accurate and consistent. Unexpected: The wood is not painted but somehow shrink wrapped in a clever textured durable plastic wrap that completely fools the perception that it is anything but paint. Triming: Cutting the bottom to vertical size with a hand jigsaw is not a problem. That revealed the durable plastic wrap was actually not paint. I have no idea if painting the wrap would be ok or not. Fitment into the closet cutout: My closet frame was poorly constructed by the builder. The frame is taller on the right side than on the left, and neither vertical side is actually square. Both tops are skewed to the right relative to the footing, and the right side frame is taller than the left. This made it a real challenge to installation and left me with unappealing visual gaps. My options were rework the top left closet frame (big job, messy, drywall and mudding involved, painting afterwards) so I vetoed that idea, or take off the left doors and use a planing sander to bevel the doors to conform to the distorted frame (vetoed that idea because of tricky and only get once to get it right), or cosmetically hide the visual distortion by using a fascia treatment on the doors repurposing inexpensive plastic self-adhesive door sweeps and that worked easily and generally is quite appealing as a workable solution. Recommendation to the manufacturer: Review my photos to understand how my solution suggests you include accessory plastic fascias for cosmetic treatments when fitment to closet frames is difficult. Overall: I struggled a lot to get a good installation but attribute it to my closet framing poorly constructed. The end result looks and functions very nicely, especially after applying my door sweeps fascia treatments. I include a final after-treatment photo. Not a big issue and can be easily fixed by using something else to replace. Just an fyi… a door frame doesn’t come included so I needed to figure something out on my own to install the door. The frame issue was probably just me misunderstanding the description of the included parts and my misconception that it would be included. The doors look great. We had a handyman install them, as installation appeared (and was) a bit complicated. Purchasers should note that these pre-finished doors are 0.8 inches thick (which is typical for this type with glass panels) as opposed to unfinished hollow core doors, which run about 1.3 inches. Purchasers should also note that the "arctic white" color is not pure white like typical trim paint in most houses; it has about one drop of gray in it. But I still love the doors and I don't think my husband has even noticed the very slight color difference. The trim piece that goes at the top is a bit janky looking but not a deal breaker. My complaint is that different size doors come with different color and style of handles. The 60x80 came with two satin nickel knobs for each pair of doors but the 48x80 came with two gold pull handles per pair of doors (meaning two knobs/handles per four panels). So, not only was the hardware mismatched for our four new doors, but the photos and the item description claimed each door of the larger size had four pull handles. Not great but I ended up just buying all matching satin nickel door pulls and installing 4 handles per door set, so that each panel would have a pull. This was more a decorative move than functional, although we do end up grabbing all the pulls at different times to open/close the doors. Adding the four pulls definitely elevated the look and made the doors look more finished and balanced than if we had just put one handle on each door. All in all I am happy with this purchase but for the price would have expected the handles to match across door sizes and to have the amount of pulls shown in the item photo on the website..
