It also has a button on the side you can push with your foot while standing. Installation was a bit confusing because the instructions talk about installing the toilet flange, but it doesn't include one. I used my old flange which was fine. It includes screws and some plastic mounting brackets that attach the bowl to the flange, which is a bit different than a standard toilet. It does include the wax seal, which is the main thing that keeps it sealed onto the drain. Overall, this toilet looks very sleek and modern. It functions well and I'm happy with it.. Julie. After initial installation opted for a custom top bracket to connect the two glass pieces attached to the walls, and add extra support to the glass, which technically it does not need. I've seen these newer afwalls being used hundreds of times since being introduced in 2008, and they have been nothing but really reliable and sensory-friendly for people on the spectrum. Unfortunately, there's a vocal group of haters on the internet who do not like this generation of afwall, but pay them no mind. The bowl of this toilet is deep enough compared to the older model that felt too shallow, like I was sitting on a clogged toilet. The new model, also, avoids siphoning out unnecessarily when you flush it, unlike the previous model that can do so unexpectedly and unnerve some people.
