I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. I purchased these to add a modern accent to an otherwise Boho-styled office. To be honest, I was disappointed that the gold is paint and not a foil or gilding. That would have made these pop. Nevertheless, the color scheme is excellent and I do like the floating frames. These are cheaply made, but don't present that way. Hand-knotted of wool, this luxurious vintage rug features a traditional design that will last for years to come. Because of each rug's handmade nature, no two are exactly alike, and quantities are limited. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. A brushless attachment is recommended. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends, clip them with scissors. Turn carpet occasionally to equalize wear. Clean spills immediately; if liquid, blot with clean, undyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For hard to remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Use of a rug pad is recommended. Please note rugs from this vintage and semi-antique collection are actual old rugs, not new rugs made to look old. Repairs and/or signs of wear are a natural characteristic of vintage rugs and do not defect; rather give each rug a personal touch making it a true one-of-a-kind. All rugs go through an extensive refurbishment process in Pakistan to ensure trouble-free use for years to come.

Kilims and hand-knotted rugs without the pile. Knotted by tightly interweaving the warp and weft strands of the weave to produce a flat surface with no pile. Generally knotted on horizontal looms, this weaving technique produces crisp geometrical designs. Being lighter in weight and softer to the touch than traditional pile carpets, kilims were also used as sofa covers, drapes, pillows, table covers, and wall hangings as tapestries and insulation from the extreme cold.

Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
