It is a Firm Bed, the base feels pretty solid, I only out 4 stars because the material feels cheap and there was some tears on the back of the headboard. Came as advertised, had a small issue but the manufacturer was able to resolve. The couch is a bit firm but I'm sure over time it'll even out.
