I had purchased an 8-inch GreenPan from Wayfair previously. I recently fried tofu in that pan. Frying tofu in a stainless steel or cast iron pan was difficult because the tofu sticks too much. It was easy in the GreenPan, and cleanup was no problem. I decided I needed a bigger GreenPan. The price for the 10-inch and 12-inch set was a bargain - just $20 more than the 12-inch pan along. We have a gas range, which seems to heat up most handles and utensils. With the GreenPan, the handle stays relatively cool. I ordered the 11" pan in gray and was surprised when the box showed an ivory pan. The correct one was inside though. Attaching the handle was super easy -- just press the button, slide into the side of the pan, and release the button. The handle feels secure and looks like a really pretty woodgrain but is totally metal. Detaching it for storage is just as easy. Most importantly, the non-stick feature works wonderfully -- no cooking spray needed! I made an omelette with veggies and cheese, and it was so nice to not have to deal with food sticking to the pan. Per the instructions, I made sure to use a rubber spatula (and not metal utensils). Washing with a soft sponge and dishwashing liquid was a breeze too. This pan will be my go-to from now on!. Linda. I bought the 11". I have used BergHOFF exclusively for 12 years. The only difference is I previously bought the BergHOFF Eurocast, from a another retailer. I even contacted BergHOFF by email, asked them if the ferno-green (ceramic), was the same. BergHOFF Eurocast has a shiny finish on top of the inner pan coating. Berghoff assured me it was in fact the same. Time will tell, 4 of my frying pans are the only ones that wore out after 10 years. Been putting off buying new ones until I found them on Wayfair. After 12 years of use, my 12 1/2 inch WOK and 1 other 12 1/2 inch frying pan plus 2 others, still look brand new. One point I will make is I have Parrots, last 30 years, this is one of the only type pan if accidentally overheated will not kill them. Teflon type pans when new or overheated , the fumes will kill any Parrot/bird you have living in your home. Pretreat the pans with vegetable oil as instructed, and periodically do it over the months and many years you have them, they are well worth the money spent.. Anonymous. South Bend, IN.
