While this is one of my favorite pans, it is NOT non-stick as promoted. Everything sticks if you dont use oil, butter, or spray. I have NEVER washed it in the dishwasher, so that aint it. I had purchased an 8-inch GreenPan from Wayfair previously. I recently fried tofu in that pan. Frying tofu in a stainless steel or cast iron pan was difficult because the tofu sticks too much. It was easy in the GreenPan, and cleanup was no problem. I decided I needed a bigger GreenPan. The price for the 10-inch and 12-inch set was a bargain - just $20 more than the 12-inch pan along. We have a gas range, which seems to heat up most handles and utensils. With the GreenPan, the handle stays relatively cool. This is a very small pan, which is exactly what I wanted. My go to pan was Farberware, and it is over 20 years old, horrible condition as it will not even fry an egg without sticking now. We are great cooks in this house and somehow we can still make our old pans work. BUT....This Viking pan is next level amazing. I see why its so expensive. It is heavy like a cast iron pan and I love love love that!! I cooked an egg in it without using any oil. Now I am obsessing and want a whole set. I just have to figure out a way to explain to my husband why we need 600 pots and pans lol. Maybe I can compare my pots and pans to some of those high end tools he has in the garage lol.
