There are some good features to this air conditioner. It is lightweight and easy to carry and install into the window. It has several modes and the lowest setting makes very little noise. The "quiet" setting is very quiet. It doesn't give the cold cooling feeling that old air conditioners do and feels more like a central air conditioning system. My windows are non standard wide so I had to adjust the installation recommendations. Bought this open box item and was worried it would be beat up or not operate properly, but after receiving and testing it works well and looks clean and new. Bought this unit for the wifi capabilities and was a bit taken aback because it requires 2.4mhz wifi as opposed to newer 5.0 which is almost a staple these days. This window AC unit has been a great addition to our home. First things first it is really heavy, so I definitely recommend having a second person help with installation. Once it’s in place, though, it’s absolutely worth it. It cools the room quickly and does a great job maintaining a comfortable temperature, even on warmer days. I also like that it has multiple functions and settings, so you can adjust it to fit your needs rather than just turning it on and off. My only minor complaint is that I wish it were a little smaller, but honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an AC unit that wasn’t bulky! That’s just part of the deal with window units.
