so far it is keeping cold. the freezer space is cut down with the extra ice maker,if i leave it off and use the extra room, i am in fear that the ice may not start working again. i really like it,but it might not start working if it is left off to long. so i have been informed by LG. These are beautiful and go great with my 20 piece service for 4 in ivory. The handles on the hostess set are different shades of blue which makes them beautiful and interesting.
