After a full month of use all is well so far. We tend to be fairly gentle with our sink and pans (stainless steel) in it while washing. Nantucket Sinks' Dennis33-BGS is a 33" reversible Single bowl workstation farmhouse fireclay sink with included grid and cuttingboard. The interior ledge is designerd to hold the included wood cutting board. This helps make tasks more efficient and keep your countertops clear. This sink is reversible so the apron style you like can be displayed. One side has an arched design on its apron front while the other has a 2 inch high horizontal ledge. The smooth glazed finish is scratch and stain resistant and show off the sink's elegant lines. Sides of sink have a slight taper from top to bottom. There are many benefits to fireclay. Its glazed surface is eco-friendly requiring less cleansers. Apron Height is 9.875 inches. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to .25". Apron style base cabinet required to support this sink. *A note about fireclay: small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.

Looks nice. The timer feature is a plus. It needs a way to attach the battery pack, which is fairly heavy with 3 D cells (not included). This fireclay sink has two basins in a 90/10 ratio to help you easily organize your workflow how you like. The sink is reversibly glazed on all sides so you may choose to have the small bowl on the left or right side. All the rage because of its personality and function. It combines ease of use and durability. Finished in a glossy bright white glaze. All dimensions for fireclay sinks are nominal due to shrinking during the firing process. For this reason, we recommend waiting to receive your actual sink before purchasing a cabinet or making cuts to countertops. Dimensions will vary by up to .25 inches.

Your kitchen is too important to cut corners, and nothing is used more than your sink. Make a sound investment with a product that has addressed glaze longevity. Fossil Blu fireclay sinks are comprised of solid genuine crystalline-silica fireclay. When paired with a silica-based glaze and fired at 2200 degrees, the two silicas fuse together, creating a new quartz-like material. As opposed to inferior ceramic sinks, which are usually hollow core, fired at lower temperatures, and exhibit little fusing, ours is far superior and engineered to remove even the possibility of hairline cracks/crazing.
