The light brightness is adjustable, three dim setting. You got warm light and day night. I personally prefer warm light setting. The button is very sensitive to touch, so you just need lightly press the button then you see the magic happen. I prefer to leave the light on, to create a warm atmosphere. NICE MIRROR! I haven’t had a chance to hang this yet as I need another person to help me. However, I am confident this will be the perfect upgrade for my bathroom! The lighting is bright but not harsh and offers variation in brightness. The backlight will give a added dimension for sure! It can be plugged in or hardwired but I will be plugging it in.
