The vent cover arrived quickly and in good condition. I like the modern, clean style and the screws are hidden. The installation instructions are clear and remind you multiple times to measure the opening and purchase the cover appropriate for the space. There is no wheel or mechanism to open and close the baffles. You use your fingers or a screwdriver which could be a pain if you are using it in a ceiling or other difficult to access area. The CleanVent attaches via magnets screwed into the vent box itself, pulling the vent box tight to the ceiling which can eliminate vent sweating. Easily removed for cleaning and painting. To measure your size correctly, remove the existing vent cover and measure the size of the duct. The duct opening size is what should be ordered. The Ribbon grille is a resin (polyurethane) decorative vent cover that is light in weight yet sturdy and strong. Grilles are unfinished and ready for you to primer and paint to achieve the perfect color for your setting. Each grille is made using a casting process that allows for a three-dimensional look. Grilles will not rust and are not prone to corrosion which makes them excellent for high-humidity areas and dry areas alike. Ribbon grilles are flat on the back and have no inserts. Grilles should not be used on the floor and are only for wall and ceiling applications for central air conditioning and heating systems. Due to the nature of the curing process, grilles can vary very slightly in size so please take the measurements as an approximate size. All grilles should be installed using the provided screws to ensure a safe application. Please note, that these grilles are intended to be primed/painted and will come in an off-white beige color.

Very nice quality; sturdier than I expected. Will be perfect for my needs HOWEVER be aware that the measurements of the item are of the grille surface NOT INCLUDING THE SOLID TRIM. In my case this was great as a larger item was even better, however if you are constricted by the space around the vent opening then you may have difficulty. Product was packaged badly - rattling around, screws loose/unbagged, with just a few air packs inside a huge box. Not protected from movement whatsoever.
