I have a floating plywood floor over the carpet in my sewing room. I had put peel and stick tiles on it. The were peeling up. I wanted one continuous piece of linoleum instead of the 12 in peel and stick. I found this flooring and 1 roll was exactly enough to do my floating floor. It works for holding single LP's. It is roomy enough inside the frame to hold an album with a sleeve and the magnet used to keep the lid on seems strong enough, but it isn't super strong so you need to make sure nothing is caught while closing the frame.
