The height is also just barely sufficient for my husband (who is 6' 3" tall), it would probably be a bit short for anyone who is taller than that (depending on the height of their desk off the ground to begin with). I, at first, thought the lift was defective but realized the issue when assembling the second desk. I had to partially take apart the first one to cut the plug out. I initially used it as a desk but have since gotten an actual desk for my computer so I now use it as an end table for my couch. It is very sturdy and the adjustable height feels very smooth.
