This is an awesome rattlesnake. It looks like a real live snake that was covered with resin to dry. Put side by side, the only way one could tell the difference would be when the real live one moves. Size is accurate, coloring is accurate, shape is accurate. We bought this statue for our desert landscape backyard and it fits perfectly with the cactus’, coyote, bobcat, wild boar, donkey’s, skunk, rabbits, lights and rocks. Looks natural. This is definitely NOT a toy. It is not bendable or shapeable. It is not a cute snake. It is a real representation of a live rattlesnake getting ready to bite (I know because I’ve seen several up close and personal). It seems fairly tough, but I would not grab it and toss it around. Because it is the shape of a snake, it is a thin narrow type statue and if treated too rough it might break. This is a show piece only but a beautiful one at that.
