This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The sleek, modern design looks clean and updated without feeling bulky, and the high-arch spout with 360° swivel gives plenty of clearance for pots and pans. The pull-down sprayer has two modes — a splash-free stream and a stronger pre-rinse spray — and switching between them is quick and smooth. Water pressure comes through strong with no leaks or flexing during use. Installation was genuinely simple. The quick-in system took about 20 minutes with no special tools, and the hot and cold hoses arrived detached, which actually made packaging more compact. Once connected, everything fit securely. Most visible components felt solid and well finished. The internal parts I could see are largely plastic, but performance has been reliable so far. The valve cartridge is rated for long-term use, and the handle operates smoothly without drips. The sprayer head and catch feel a bit more basic than the rest of the faucet, but still perfectly functional. Cleaning is easy thanks to the corrosion-resistant finish — a quick wipe keeps it looking new. Overall, this is a practical, good-looking faucet that works well, especially for a secondary sink..
