I was in search of a free standing tub that had completely straight/square sides versus the many that are sold with curves and angles. I needed this to fit in a corner without leaving spaces between the tub and wall that would either trap water or dust. This was the the one squared tub that I found within my price range, with others being 2-3 times as much for some reason, so I bought it in the only version available at the time (glossy gray). It's here now, I've opened the box to take a look and it is really beautiful and substantial while also being a foot shorter in length than the alcove tub it's replacing (space that I was eager to gain in a small bathroom). I'm really excited to get it installed and will be putting in a fixed glass panel on the non-wall end and a pivoting glass panel door along the exposed side since it will get the most use as a shower. 100 perfect choice. With many bad discs in my back I often need release from pain. This is my go to solution. Excellent pressure from the JETS and the colors when the lights are on are absolutely amazing. They rotate colors and fill the room with the colorful accents. Candlelight makes the experience even more perfect. The armrests are perfectly poised for relaxation while you’re body pain pains are relieved. It was lightweight and the installers were able to get it set up fairly quickly. We believe it has added value to our home because it transformed that bathroom into a beautiful space. Tub was listed on the website as cast iron but actually was acrylic. Talked to customer service representative who was wonderful and immediately said the info was sent by the manufacturer to go on Wayfair website and that Wayfair was unaware that it wasn't cast iron. Delivery was very good, arrived early. The tub is unbelievable-21 inches high, lots of jets. It was installed 2 days ago. Waiting for the tub surround. Beautiful drain for a beautiful bathtub...but, it is unfortunate it does not come standard with the $4500 bathtub. Not Wayfair's fault....the manufacturer makes you pay for it separately. Absolutely unacceptable quality. The only reason why I didn’t return it’s because i built the bathroom with this item in mind. One side of the frame has to be built after moving tub in place because pump and blower frame sticks out a bit over the tub lips. Tub frame is cheap 1 by 1” tubing held in place with some cheap self tapping screws from hardware store, they didn’t even bother to use one kind of screws. When tested it, the pump switch didn’t work, had to buy another one. Spot welds what can i say, i can do e better job and I am not even a welder. This looks like was made in someone’s garage. Instruction manual looks like someone just typed it in Word and printed it on a home printer. Front cover is supposed to stay in place with 4 magnets, it slides down since magnets aren’t strong enough to keep the cover in place, at least could have used neodymium magnets How can you possibly sell such a product for $2600 and feel proud about your Family Owned Business of 30+ years.
