As far as quality, this thing seem solid. I wanted solid surface for the heat retention but bonus that this doesn't have any of the creaks/give that a fiberglass/acrylic tub has. For the price, I think the quality is really good and it feels very solid and heavy. One thing to pay attention is the drain opening on the back. It has two round holes, one above and one below, but my pipe was positioned in the middle. We had to carefully cut open the area between the two holes to make it fit.
