The product itself is fine, however the pictures don’t really show what it’s actually like. Make sure you read the color description. The picture makes the black dome piece look more matte and smooth, however the gloss black one is VERY glossy and had some bubbles/imperfections around it. I am not sure it’s worth the price, however I really like the braided style of the cord so I may try to reorder in the actual matte color and see if it looks better. However, I took off a star because I paid for new lamps and one of them was very clearly a return that wayfair didn't even bother to QA before sending it to me and trying to pass it off as new because it was missing pieces, missing packaging, and had fingerprints on the shade. My husband had the missing pieces in the garage among his supply so we were able to go ahead and finish installing them - the missing pieces are up in the ceiling, so not visible, so that part doesn't matter, but wayfair should have charged me the "open box" price for one of the lamps, not the new unopened price..
