We have completely changed the way the lights shine, from traditional mirror sandblasting to the use of diffused plate materials to achieve higher brightness with lower wattage. This innovative design not only saves on lighting costs but also eliminates the need for additional cosmetic lights.

The piece is beautiful and works wonderfully. Be advised, however, that it comes with the plug sticking out the back. If you are planning on recessing it into a wall, you/your contractor will have to figure out how to rewire it through the side. Also, the shelves say adjustable but the clips are near impossible to take out. Plan to spend 20 minutes wrestling each clip out. Pros: Looks nice, gentle magnetic latching, nice lighting. Cons Cheap basic hinge, no trim around edges so wall opening must be done right. Overall the mirror looks and feels great. The lighting works great and so does defogging. It's only been a week so I hope the defogging doesn't fail like other reviewers stated. We don't use it much though. I bought two other medicine cabinets for another bathroom and this one is sub-par with only a basic piano wire type hinge along the side, not the hinges you see in modern cabinets with soft close. So there's no soft close but the doors swings smoothly when leveled properly and doesn't require a loud closure or excessive pull to open since it closes with a light duty magnetic closure. Some magnets can be too much! My installer thought he'd be able to have some leeway on the opening in the wall for a recessed install. This mirror, unlike my other two has ZERO trim around the recessed box. The mirror border is wider but if there's any gap where the box goes in the wall you WILL notice. Top and sides! The installer had to fill in the area with caulk and backer rod, and was tempted to add drywall mud. I'm not sure if you could put this mirror on a light switch as it defaults to off when powered I believe, so we did not tie it to a switch. I do appreciate the shelves in this one over our other similar medicine cabinets in that they can be adjusted after install. Many similar ones have to have shelf supports removed from the outside edge which is impossible after install! Beware! Lastly, this one does not have an outlet or lighting built in. The size of the mirror was perfect to match my 24 inch vanity. I specifically picked this one because very few 24 inch medicine cabinet mirrors have dual opening doors; most are just a single door. The light color options are nice and the included USB plugs are handy for charging my shaver without needing the plug. Had to take away a star because my first 3 deliveries were all with a shattered mirror. I don't think they package it well for transport as the first 3 mirrors seemed to move in the box before I opened the package. Wayfair customer service made it right though and the 4th one worked for me. This Vanity mirror came assembled and very protected. The only downfall I found is that there is nothing to keep the glass shelves secured in place. I expected a small suction cup at the least. They simply just sit on the metal lips with no stopper or flat edge. I will likely find some type of reinforcement for the glass prior to hanging and using the shelves.
