Beautiful and looks just like the pictures; however, the controls are a bit hard to understand and navigate. There are “duration” functions where you can turn cooking times on and off and it is difficult to tell whether they are on or not and for which oven.. oh and it only all for military time display. Not good for us. The oven worked as intended the first few days and then suddenly the small oven stopped heating. We can’t figure out why (is it the duration function or not? And no we are not tech-dumb - my husband is an engineer who can figure most anything out and this is our second Ilve but this one operates differently.. ) and now will need to call in a technician and spend more money on this. Connected to wi-fi - just haven't used that yet. Two small issues - (1) our lint sensor is crazy sensitive. Just had the ducts cleaned yet it constantly gives us a warning that our ducts are almost blocked. (2) the vent in the back started rusting within 3 months!!! And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. Both the refrigerator area and freezer compartment are very spacious. It’s very easy to organize the food so that I can readily see exactly what I need without digging around and moving things. We purchased this refrigerator in 2021 because we needed a specific size to fit inside our house. So far (2026) the refrigerator is working well. I appreciate that the shelves are easily adjustable and are easy to clean. The hidden door feature is probably my favorite part of the unit because it allows easy access to often-grabbed items like drinks and condiments. The ice maker and water option on the front is also great, and I like that I can set different temperature zones for the main fridge and for the drawer below it. The only two features that I find frustrating are the double icemaker. The Round ice balls in the freezer take up a lot of room that I would gladly have for storage instead. The ice balls are produced slowly and I feel pretentious offering them to guests. The other issue is that the shelves on the ice-maker side of the refrigerator door are so narrow that it's nearly impossible to house anything there.. Cabrown224. Mon Jun 22 2026
