Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after. The unit is whisper quiet depending on the setting. Even on high, it’s much more quiet than the traditional non inverter units. It’s worth the bump in price. And this is a much more affordable solution that doesn’t need professional installation. No jump in my electric bill either. I don’t have central air and no plans to get it. This works just fine.
