I tried it with a 14” and a 17”, and I think they would both work well. It does come with a harp and finial, so you can use either standard lampshade type. I LOVE these lamps. I wasn’t sure if they were going to be too…plain but they were perfect. I guess depending on the surrounding decor they could be industrial but then also kinda romantic.
