Not only is this rug beautiful, it is extremely soft, and comfortable to walk on. It's like a brushed cotton feel. It arrived folded in a box (as opposed to rolled like many rugs), and has instructions on how to ease out the fold marks. They should disappear quickly. I think the muted tones are pretty, and don't "take over" the room, if you know what I mean. I actually thought about returning this rug because i was not sure it would match ,although i read so many reviews about it that were good . Well I'm here to say it is absolutely beautiful . So soft and well made with tones of beige with a slight light pattern , very slight . My furniture is kind of a caramel color and it looks great with it . You will not be sorry on this one !. Patti.
